No Easter Eggs Here?

With Easter getting closer, I have been asked at home to come up with something nice to the palate. And I was also told that Easter Eggs would not do this time round!

After a bit of search, I finally settled down to something cosy, warm and homely which can complement our little indulgences, or can be sampled on its own or with anything you might fancy...

... and here is YVONNE & GUITE's Secret Chocolate Sauce!

  • 100mL of milk
  • 100mL of double cream
  • 30g of granulated sugar
  • 150g of good quality cooking/semisweet chocolate
  • 35g of butter  

1- In a small saucepan melt together the milk, the double cream and the sugar, and stir until the sugar is completely dissolved.
2- Remove from the heat and add the chocolate, roughly chopped, and stir until completely melted.
3- Add the butter and melt.
4- Serve warm or put into the refrigerator and reheat the sauce before serving.
